If your seller does not want the full price history for the current listing displayed on IDX (public consumer websites), you can choose No during listing input.
Not sure what IDX means?
Learn more about IDX and VOW and how they affect where your listings are displayed in our What are the differences between IDX and VOW sites? article.
Where can this setting be found?
In connectMLS, the field is titled "Allow display of price history on public consumer sites?" and it can be found under the Media tab while adding or editing a listing under the "For public consumer sites (also known as Internet Data Exchange or IDX), does your seller agree to:" section.
In Paragon, the field is titled "Price Hist On IDX YN" and it can be found under the Media tab while adding or editing a listing.

What happens when "No" is selected?
Selecting No prevents the complete price history for the current listing from being displayed on public consumer websites. However, because recent price changes are often used for marketing purposes, public websites may still display:
- The original list price
- The most recent price change
- Price reduction tags or percentage increase/decrease indicators
Any price changes that occurred between the original list price and the most recent price change will not be displayed.
Example
If a listing is entered at $500,000 and the price changes to $490,000, $480,000, and then $470,000, public websites may still display:
- Original List Price: $500,000
- Current Price: $470,000
- A price reduction indicator
The intermediate price changes ($490,000 and $480,000) will not be displayed.
Note: This setting applies only to the current listing. It does not affect the price history of previous listings for the property, or information coming from public records.
