How to Change Your Search & Report Defaults in connectMLS

Step-by-Step Guide

Once logged in, click on your photo or initials in the top-right corner of the screen.
From the dropdown menu, click on Settings.

On the Search & Report Defaults page, you'll see a section labeled Default Listing Reports.
Here, you can adjust your preferred report views for each property type:
- 1 Line Summary: This is the list format displayed when you click View Results during a property search.
- Mapping: This report shows up by default when you select Map Results on the search screen.
- Detailed Report: This is the full property report that appears when you click on a property's listing number.

After selecting your preferred reports for each property type, make sure to Save your changes before exiting.

Review Property Types: Ensure you've set your preferences for all relevant property types (e.g., Detached Single, Attached Single, CrossProperty (All)).
Try Different Reports: If you're not sure which report suits your needs best, experiment with different options until you find the most efficient view for your workflow.
Update Regularly: As your search needs change, revisit your settings to adjust your defaults for better efficiency.
