Transaction participants are now able to determine how much credit is assigned to which parties for their market share in connectMLS. This change allows for customization of credit and better transparency for all, increasing accuracy of production, connectMLS market share reports (additionally InfoSparks and Agent Metrics will be updated with this information in the future), and for brokerage/association sales awards.
The new four fields associated with this change on the listing side are:
- List Broker Production Credit (%)
- How much of the sales/rent price is attributed to the main listing broker.
- List Team Production Credit (%)
- If a Team is present in the transaction, how much of the sales/rent price is attributed to the Team.
- CoList Broker Production Credit (%)
- How much of the sales/rent price is attributed to the secondary listing broker.
- CoList Team Production Credit (%)
- If a Team is present in the transaction, how much of the sales/rent price is attributed to the Team associated with the secondary listing broker.
The totals from these four fields must add up to equal 100%. If no Team is present, the Teams-related fields will not be displayed. If the List Team and the Co-List Team are the same, the credit will be attributed to the same Team.
The new four fields associated with this change on the buying side are:
- Buyer Broker Production Credit (%)
- How much of the sales/rent price is attributed to the main buyer broker.
- Buyer Team Production Credit (%)
- If a Team is present in the transaction, how much of the sales/rent price is attributed to the Team.
- CoBuyer Broker Production Credit (%)
- How much of the sales/rent price is attributed to the secondary buyer broker.
- CoBuyer Team Production Credit (%)
- If a Team is present in the transaction, how much of the sales/rent price is attributed to the secondary Team.
The totals from these four fields must add up to equal 100%. If no Team is present, the Teams-related fields will not be displayed. If the Buyer Team and the Co-Buyer Team are the same, the credit will be attributed to the same Team.

- The Market Share Report will give credit based on the credit split input in connectMLS by the transaction participants.
- If an agent would like to compare the units in this report against their transactions, they can follow the below steps:
- Go to Search > Choose General or Classic Search > Property Type: Cross-Property (All)

Infosparks MarketView
- If a broker would like to pull their stats for 2023 using Infosparks, they can follow these steps:
- Go to Tools, Resources, and Links > Infosparks
- Click MarketView at the top of Infosparks
- Enter a broker ID under “Choose an Agent to Highlight”
- Select the Time Period: Rolling 12 Months (the previous 12 months added together)
- Make sure Property Class at the top is selected as All Property Classes.
- MarketView will divide the credit based on the credit split input in connectMLS by the transaction participants.
Team Stats
- All team stats are tracked under the team lead’s ID. To pull stats for a team, the team lead can either use the Market Share Report or MarketView taking the same steps mentioned above.
- If pulling the stats in MarketView, the team name will not appear. The stats will be tracked under the team lead’s name and ID.
Changing List Broker/Colist Broker or Buyer Broker/Cobuyer Broker
- If an agent wants to swap the list broker with the colist broker, the Managing Broker or Office Admin can edit the list broker by going to Listings > Edit List Broker and entering the MLS number. They will not be able to edit the colist broker from here. If the listing is active, the new list broker can edit the colist broker by going to Listings > Edit Listing Details > Edit Basic Listing Information. If the listing is closed, this is a change that MRED's Rules and Regulations team would need to make. You can email them at rules.regs@mredllc.com.
- If an agent wants to swap the buyer broker with the cobuyer broker, they will need to request this change with the list broker of the listing.
Association Awards
- If you receive questions regarding how the association pulls numbers for their awards, you can refer the agent to their association.
