What do the contingency flag abbreviations mean?

A/I: Contingent on attorney approval and/or home inspection.


CTGA: Contingent on auction (continue to show unless otherwise specified)


CTGO: Contingent on some other condition (for example, trailing spouse approval), it is recommended that you reach out to listing broker to confirm what the contingency is.


FIN: Contingent on financing approval.


HS (24, 48, 72): Contingent on sale of another property. The number that follows “HS” is the number of hours in the kick-out period.


HC (24, 48, 72): Contingent on closing of another property. The number that follows “HC” is the number of hours in the kick-out period.


SS: Contingent on Short Sale.


Commercial-only:


PS: Property to sell.


PC: Property to close.


In addition to these contingency flags, there is an available “Continue to Show” field. Indicating “yes” in this field allows buyers agents to see all properties that are still available to be shown, even if contingent, and allows listing agents to keep showing a property even when it's contingent.



CTGO - is other, you will want to reach out to listing broker to confirm what the contingency is.
