PROPERTY TYPE:
- Attached = Shares walls with another dwelling.
- Detached = Does Not share walls with any other dwelling.

Attached:
- Coach/Manor - A 2 story building typically with an attached garage for each unit. Up to 4 units could share a common entry but occasionally each unit has a private entry. Not a traditional condo style building.
- Condo - Traditional style condominium with out features of a loft, duplex condo or garden apt
- Duplex - 1/2 of a duplex (2 unit building)
- Duplex Condo - A condo on two levels in a building.
- Garden Apt - The bottom unit in a building which is partially below grade with windows at grade level.
- Loft Condo - Open condo design with high ceilings and walls that do not extend to the height of the ceiling.
- Penthouse - Top residential unit in a hi rise building.
- Quad - One of 4 units in a building, having a private entry and unit entrances on 2 or more sides of building.
- Quad Ranch - The grade level unit on one level without another dwelling above, in a building comprised of 4 separate dwellings.
- Quad 2 Story - A 2 story dwelling in a building comprised of 4 separate dwellings.
- Quad Split - A Tri Level/Split dwelling in a building comprised of 4 separate dwellings.
- Row House - One of a series of dwellings having architectural unity and common walls between units.
- Townhouse Ranch - A single level (1st or 2nd floor) unit among traditional multi story townhouses.
- Townhouse 2 Story - Traditional townhouse style with private entry. Multiple style variations, usually with architectural similarity.
- Townhouse Split - A Tri Level/Split unit among traditional townhouses.
- Townhouse 3 Story - Relatively recent evolution of townhouse style with the garage and possibly additional room, below the living/dining & kitchen areas (2nd Floor), and bedrooms on the upper/3rd floor.
- Triplex - One dwelling in a building comprised of three separate dwellings.
- Apartment - For rental listings only if the rental is an apartment style.
- Other - Dwelling does not fit any other available style choice.
Detached:
- 2 Story - Single residence dwelling, has two floors, designed with no living area below grade.
- 3 Story - Single residence dwelling, has three floors of living area above grade.
- 4+ Story - Single residence dwelling, has four or more floors of living area above grade.
- Bi Level - Usually has the “Social” areas (Living, Dining & Kitchen) along the front of the house and the bedrooms raised to the back of the house. With a basement under the bedrooms this style becomes a tri-level. Traditional tri-levels have living areas and bedroom side by side rather than front and back.
- Bungalow - A one and a half story dwelling. Basement is at least 75% below grade.
- Cape Cod - 1 or 2 story house with high sloping gabel roof.
- Mid Level - Similar to a raised ranch. Entry is on the side and the attached garage is not under the dwelling.
- Mobile - Dwelling not on a permanent foundation.
- Quad Level - Tri Level/Split with a Sub basement
- Ranch - Single level dwelling is at grade level.
- Step Ranch - One Story dwelling slightly raised above grade requiring steps to the entry. Usually with basement at least 75% below grade. Similar to a bungalow without the walk-up attic.
- Raised Ranch - From the entry a half flight of stairs leads to either the lower or upper level. Usually the living, dining, kitchen and bedrooms are on the upper level with a family room and occasional bedroom/den on the lower level. Lower level/basement is partially below grade and sometimes allows for walkout from the lower level.
- Split/Tri Level - Three living levels usually with the main level at grade, the lower level is partially below grade and the bedrooms are located above the lower level. If a fully below grade basement (sub basement) is under the living, dining and kitchen areas, this style becomes a quad level.
- Other - Dwelling does not fit any other available style choice.
