If a Listing Is for Rent and for Sale, Can a Showing Be Scheduled at the Same Time Through ShowingTime?

If a property is listed both for sale and for rent under two separate MLS IDs, it is possible for showings to be scheduled at the same time.

Why can showings overlap?

Each MLS listing has its own ShowingTime calendar. Because the for-sale and rental listings are separate and do not communicate with one another in ShowingTime, an appointment scheduled through one listing will not automatically block that same time on the other listing. As a result, overlapping showing appointments may occur.

How can I avoid overlapping appointments?

When scheduling a showing, refer to the Showing Calendar to check whether another appointment has already been scheduled for the property during your preferred time. If you see an existing appointment, you can select another available time or request to reschedule accordingly.
