How can I set up default search criteria in Paragon?

If you find yourself adjusting the same search fields over and over in Paragon, setting a default search can save you time. Once configured, Paragon will automatically load your preferred fields each time you start a new search.

Paragon Professional

1. Go to Search.

2. Select your Property Type.

3. Add or edit the search fields to match your preferences.

4. Click Save Search at the top.

5. Select Save Search As.

6. Update the name of the search.

7. Check one of the following options at the bottom:

   • Set as the MLS Defined (Property Type Selected) Search, or

   • Set as My Default (Property Type Selected) Search

8. Click Save.

Tip: Setting a default ensures your preferred fields load automatically for that property type.

Paragon Connect

1. Click the three lines in the upper-left corner and select Properties.

2. Choose your Property Type.

3. Add or edit the search fields to your preference.

4. Click Save in the upper-right corner.

5. Select the Save Default Template option.

6. Save your changes.

Good to know

• Defaults are saved by property type, so you can customize different setups for each one.

• You can update or change your default at any time by following the same steps.
