Some municipalities do not allow exclusion of individuals based on source of income*. To comply withthese ordinances, MRED does not allow Section 8 exclusionary language likethese examples.
*Defined as any lawful manner by which a person supports themself and their dependents, includingpersons who have a federal Housing Choice voucher (i.e. Section 8).
