How do I change a private listing to a standard listing?

How to Edit and Activate Listings

1. Navigate to Your Listings:
   • Log in to your account.
   • Go to the "My Listings/Transactions" section, which can be found in the main menu or dashboard.
2. Edit the Desired Property:
   • Locate the property you wish to modify in your listings.
   • Click the edit pencil icon next to the property. This will open the editing options.
   • In the editing menu, choose "Edit Listing Details/Change to Standard Listing".
3. Input Required Information:
   • A form will appear with the necessary Standard fields that need to be filled out.
   • Carefully enter all required details, ensuring accuracy to meet MLS requirements.
   • After completing the form, click the "Save and Change to Standard Listing" button at the bottom of the page.
4. Activate the Listing:
   • The system will automatically check if your listing complies with MLS rules. If any issues are found, you will be prompted to correct them before proceeding.
   • Once your listing passes the MLS rules check, you will have the option to activate it as new or closed.
     • Activating as New:
       • If you are activating the listing as new, set the list date to today’s date. This indicates that the listing is being newly added to the market.
     • Changing Status to Contingent or Pending:
       • If you plan to immediately change the status to contingent or pending after activation, use the date from your original agreement as the list date. This reflects the date when the agreement was originally made.
     • Activating as Closed:
       • If the property has already been sold or leased and you are activating it as closed, use the date from your original agreement. This ensures that all historical data is accurate.
