To Create Mailing Labels in Realist
- In Realist, run a search to find the properties for which you want to print mailing labels.
- On the Search Results Table where the properties are listed, make sure all the properties you want to include are selected by checking the box to the left of the property's address.
- Click on Labels option at the bottom of the Search Results Table. The Labels window opens:
4. Choose the Avery label type (5161 and 5162 allow USPS Bar Codes).
5. Select Mixed Case or All Caps for the text style.
6. Choose the address type: Tax Billing (recommended for reaching property owners) or Property.
Tip: Use “Create Custom Label” to add greetings like “or Current Resident.”
7. Check your Export Status for enough exports; select “Use all remaining” if needed.
8. To print a subset, enter the starting and ending row numbers.
9. Click “Create” to create an RTF file and download it.
10. Open the file, and Print, or save as a PDF by going to File > Save As > Change Type: Rich Text Format (.rtf) to PDF (.pdf).
