When will a property get flagged for foreclosure?

Modified on Wed, 22 Aug, 2018 at 11:45 AM

1) A property is placed in Pre-foreclosure stage in Realist when a recorded Lis Pendens document at the county is
entered into the FACL database.

2) A property moves to Bank Owned stage when certain deed types are recorded (e.g. Trustee’s Deed, Foreclosure
Deed, Deed in Lieu of Foreclosure, etc.) and entered into the FACL database.

If the deed document indicates a bank as
grantee, it is flagged as Bank Owned. If the deed indicates a bank as grantor and an individual as grantee, it is flagged
as Bank Owned Sale.
